Developed and was instrumental in working with the Kernersville Mayor and Board of Alderman in 2009 to unanimously pass a “Green Building” rebate program for the Town of Kernersville.  The program was the third of its kind in the state at that time.  It allows home builders and home owners to receive up to rebate on their building permit if the home is built to Energy Star, Certified Green, or Healthy Built home status.
